Morning Star Psychology
A custom website for a psychology practice supporting clients across every stage of life — fast booking, clear service explanations, and search-optimised content for the practice's catchment.
The challenge
Morning Star Psychology needed a website that worked as hard as their clinicians do — clearly explaining their services, making it simple for new clients to book, and helping the practice show up in local search when people in their catchment area look for psychological support.
The previous setup did the basics, but lacked the structure to compete with larger practices for search visibility, and didn’t make the practice’s specialisations easy to discover.
Approach
I started with the patient experience: what does someone arriving at the site actually need to know in the first ten seconds? Service breadth, how to book, who they’d see. Everything else is secondary.
The site is built around three primary pathways — services, the team, and bookings — with each clinician’s profile structured so it surfaces in search for their specialisations. Schema markup for LocalBusiness and individual practitioners helps both Google and AI search engines understand who the practice serves and where.
Result
A fast, accessible, search-optimised site that reflects the practice’s care for its clients. The homepage loads in well under a second, every clinician profile is independently indexed, and the booking flow is two clicks from any page.
